Alison Krauss

Alison Maria Krauss - born on July 23, 1971, is an American bluegrass and country vocalist. Her career in music began at an early age having won local competitions at the age of 10 before recording for the first time at the age of 14. Signed to Rounder Records, her first album debuted in 1987. Then, she was invited to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings together. Her debut album in a group with this band came out in the year 1989.
