Mischa Barton, born in Hammersmith England United Kingdom on the 24th of January, 1986 is one of the most renowned and rich TV Actresses. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She appeared also in The Sixth Sense, a suspense thriller. The O.C. Starred in a T.V. show that was very well-known. The O.C., a popular TV series on which she played. Barton made her first television appearance in 1994 as an untold Corvina in flashbacks from the soap drama All My Children. She returned in 1996 to take over the role of Michelle Trachtenberg as Lily Benton Montgomery. She was a guest star in eight episodes of the show Once and Again as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) girlfriend Katie Singer. In 2001, she returned to acting and played in an independently-produced Canadian film called Lost and Delirious. It was based on her Susan Swan novel The Wives of Bath. The reception she received in Romania was that of a hero. Comaneci was awarded two gold and two silver medals at the Olympics in the year 1980, taking her medal haul to nine. In 1996 Comaneci was a member of the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and in 1999 she was recognized with a special award from ABC News and Ladies Home Journal for being named one of 100 of the Most Important Women of the 20th Century. Comaneci and Olympic Champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy is one of many gymnastics businesses they jointly own. Comaneci serves as an executive board member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. Comaneci has continued to assist dozens of charitable organizations across Romania and beyond, such as the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
