Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian actor, singer-songwriter and performer. Her main focus is Tamil as well as Malayalam movies. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam and Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born to an Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu.Andrea's dad is an attorney in the Madras High Court. Her younger sister works as a Belgian research assistant who is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah comes originally from Chennai. She attended National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a young classical pianist who was also a huge geek. Young Stars was the Jackson Five band Andrea joined at 10 years old. The band led her to her first singing career and early music composition. She was also a theatre student at her school and performed in a variety of performances staged in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea served as president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her acting career with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. She was featured in the 2006 leo coffee commercial alongside Shiva. She was also the part of a character in the Podhigai serial. She has appeared in various shows in a variety of roles across India. She was in a short part at the conclusion of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham Vaisudev Menon, who had her sing in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, then wanted her to take on in the role of a female character for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani the housewife who's husband is involved in an affair. The character was allegedly targeted for blackmail. Andrea was approached following Simran Shobana and Tabu. which released in early 2010. Her minor role was accepted in Venkat's Mankatha in 2011, which starred a number of actors. She made her Malayalam film debut with Rajeeev's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
