Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1961) is a famous American author and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She previously served as an assistant professor of Law at Law School at the University of Washington Law School. She's also provided legal comments for Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor, and National Public Radio. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight The Imus morning show, and hosts her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She received her bachelor's degree from Barnard College, followed by a master's degree in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues to NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 through 2001. She managed their Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was employed as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
