Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. She is best known as the anchor for the CNN morning show At This Hour. In the past, she was the co-anchor on the CNN morning news show New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's winning presidential election coverage in 2012. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan has covered legislative and congressional events, such as discussions on raising the debt ceiling of the US and super committee discussions. Additionally, she worked as a general-assignment correspondent and covered such topics as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision on Obamacare as well as the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007. She was a feature reporter and breaking news stories to nearly 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. Now she lives in New York City together with her husband, two sons and two grandchildren.
